Gérard Lenorman was born on February 9, 1945 in Calvados. In 1968, his career took off and the young singer opened for Johnny Hallyday. He also composed songs for Brigitte Bardot, then at the height of her fame. In 1970, he triumphed in the lead role of the musical "Hair" where he replaced Julien Clerc. The following year, his single "De toi" trusts the French charts. The successes follow one another until 1978, when his album "Nostalgies" gets two gold discs.
